5. Skittle
Skittle is a sweet, affectionate older cat who would love to find a permanent home. Adoption is possible from the Wirral & Chester Animal Centre. | RSPCA

6. Paddy - American Bulldog
Paddy is a two-year-old American Bulldog. This young chap is on the bigger side, so at 30kg needs an owner who is confident at walking a larger dog as Paddy can pull quite strong on the lead. Adoption is possible from the Southport, Ormskirk & District Branch Animal Centre. | RSPCA

7. Comet - Siberian Husky puppy
Comet is an adorable Siberian puppy. Nothing phases Comet, she loves anything noisy, fast moving or playful and will happily give bigger dogs a run for their money. Although Comet does take herself to her crate happily when she's tired, she is desperate to get out if she thinks she's missing the fun so this will need some further training. Adoption is possible from the Warrington, Halton & St Helens Animal Centre. | RSPCA

8. Marmalade
Marmalade was brought into the RSPCA as a stray with a big neck injury, which he is still recovering from. At the moment he's quite wary and tries his best to not be seen. But if you spend time with him and be patient, he slowly starts to relax. Adoption is possible from the Wirral & Chester Animal Centre. | RSPCA
