I am a digital content creator at PeopleWorld who writes articles about a variety of personalities from the Royal Family and TV Royalty to sports stars and politicians, while also creating TikToks for the site. Although I write a broad spectrum of stories, I specialise in travel, sport and people-based news. Originally from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, I achieved an International Journalism degree after studying journalism at both Leeds Trinity University and its partner university Saint Pauls in Ottawa, Canada, as well as gaining my programme prize for the highest grade and an NCTJ diploma including 100 words per minute in shorthand. Having run my own multi-media news site throughout my final year of university in Leeds, focusing on environmental content, the Yorkshire Evening Post gave me a prize for local digital journalism excellence. Prior to working with PeopleWorld, I worked as a content curator for Google Showcase and NationalWorld, spent time as a researcher at Love Productions, reported for my local newspaper and compiled news bulletins for BBC Guernsey. In my downtime, I enjoy reading and creating travel and lifestyle vlogs on YouTube that my family and friends can look back on as memories. Perhaps one of my favourite videos to watch back is my summer in Guernsey in 2021, as although I have visited some absolutely stunning places around the world - there is no place like home to come back to.
