Everton’s proposed owners could be set to axe their second manager in as many months as Ivan Jurić’s side face Torino.
After grabbing the headlines and upsetting the fanbase following the dismissal of club legend Danielle De Rossi in September, Juric could be sacked if his side do not beat Torino in Serie A tonight, according to reports in Italy (Il Messaggero).

Since then, they’ve won three, lost three and drawn two across the league and Europa League - but they sit 12th in the Italian league.
A few managers have been linked with the move, according to the report, with De Rossi pitched for a potential return, recently sacked boss Roberto Mancini, former Leicester City hero Claudio Ranieri or former Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic. But Roma fans were incensed at their previous decision to let De Rossi go, with fan protests against TFG at the Stadio Olimpico speaking volumes.
Even a former Serie A player disagreed with the owners move; Zvonimir Boban, who won four Serie A titles, said on Sky Sport Italia: “This is an absurd situation that has been created by an inadequate leadership that is disrespectful towards the values of Roma fans.”

They are hoping to complete their deal to take over Everton in the coming weeks or before the turn of the year. With the future looking bright with a new stadium move next year, it has been predicted that manager Sean Dyche, who’s deal expires at the end of the season, is likely to move on and a new, more progressive manager would take his place to help thrust them into a new era.

Having such trigger-happy owners could be troublesome for the future, especially in English football, but it is certainly setting a precedent that fans will hope doesn’t follow them to Merseyside.
